GroundWorks DanceTheater's 16th Annual It Takes Two! Benefit Gala, celebrating GroundWork's 25th Anniversary, welcomed over 370 attendees to The Cleveland Museum of Art on Saturday, April 20, 2024. Cleveland's social event of the season raised over $250,000, with its proceeds contributing to GroundWorks' mission of creating and presenting groundbreaking contemporary dance performances and providing life-enriching educational and outreach programs throughout Northeast Ohio.

The Dancing With The Stars-style dance competition, where nine local celebrities stepped into the spotlight alongside GroundWorks' company dancers, was won by Grand Champion Melissa Ferchill Swingos, the owner of MCM Company, Inc., who performed with partners Teagan Reed and Matthew Saggiomo. It Takes Two! 2024's Audience Favorite Award went to Dave Gunning, a partner at McDonald Hopkins, who performed with Victoria Rumzis.
