Michael Christoff, Moderator
After graduating with a Master’s of Architecture from Kent State University in 2005, Michael moved to Cleveland to work on the Flats East Bank redevelopment project. Working on this and a variety of redevelopment projects has afforded him a deep appreciation for urban environments and how people interact within them. His focus has been on complex projects that require strategic physical, social and cultural interventions.
Art Falco
Art J. Falco is President and CEO of PlayhouseSquare and PlayhouseSquare Real Estate Services. Art Falco holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting, and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a member of the Broadway League and is a Tony voter. He is a Chair of Downtown Cleveland Alliance, and a board member of Greater Cleveland Partnership and Positively Cleveland-Convention and Visitors Bureau Falco is also treasurer of the PlayhouseSquare District Development Corporation, the first special improvement district in the City of Cleveland.
Natalie Ronayne
As President of Cleveland Botanical Garden, Natalie Ronayne combines her passion for plants and love of humanity to inspire and enrich people’s lives while also making the communities of Northeast Ohio greener and healthier. She currently serves on the Natural Resources Assistance Council of the Ohio State Department of Public Works for Cuyahoga County. Ronayne previously served as Director of Parks, Recreation and Properties for the City of Cleveland. She holds a Biology degree from Wittenberg and a Master of Environmental Policy and Management from Indiana University.
Beth Rutkowski
Beth Rutkowski began her tenure as GroundWorks first General Manager in July, 2011. In this role, Beth oversees all of the day-to-day operations and administration, including finances, marketing, grantwriting, and general administration. In the community, Beth currently serves on the executive board of the Cleveland Arts Education Consortium and on the Executive Committee of the Board of Chagrin Arts in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. Prior to coming to GroundWorks, Beth was Managing Director of Tri-C JazzFest Cleveland from April 2005 through June 2011.
John Goehrke
John Goehrke is the public programs manager at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, where he manages the adult public programs at the Museum and the Library and Archives. John also teaches regularly in the Museum’s student programs, developing K-12 curriculum, teaching materials, and metrics to evaluate and forecast the Museum’s K-12 offerings. John holds a B.A. in Music from Kenyon College and his M.B.A. from Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management.
