  • GroundWorks DanceTheater founded in 1998 by Artistic Director David Shimotakahara, marks its 25th Anniversary Year, nationally recognized for its innovative contributions to contemporary dance. Based in Northeast Ohio, GroundWorks fosters new choreography, challenges dance preconceptions, and collaborates with groundbreaking voices.
